COSIGN what SisterT said.  I wear my ring all the time but I do take it off regularly.

Physical athletic activity...

when clapping heavily during a fast church song....

those days where my fingers are somewhat small and I have to direct (don't want it to fly off)...

while deployed, I just wore it on my dogtags around my neck...

Men wear your wedding rings please!!!! It causes less confusion for us single sisters. I don't like to wear rings when I play either. As soon as you get off the keyboard or whatever instrument you are playing, you could put it back on.

RING OR NOT

THE MAN ( HUsband)  should establish clear boundaries. That is what causes problems not ring or no ring.

I do not wear my ring at church often, but I do wear it at the office just because it does help ( not in all cases cause you got hoes everywhere)  to keep down some of the corporate mess you ahve to deal with at times.

But more than anything clear boundaries have been my best weapon and clear indication of my committment to my wife.

A ring isn't going to stop an over zealous woman! The married man saying NO is what makes a statement, not a ring.

My husband doesn't wear a ring. He lost it 14 years ago. He has never wore rings and still doesn't and I wasn't wasting our hard earn money replacing it.

I'm confident, comfortable and secure with my marriage and my man. I certainly know that woman are going to approach him whether or not he wears a rings. Because my man is a man of integrity, I trust him to do the right thing. AND because this sister seeks to meet her husband's needs DAILY, I know he don't have time or energy to do nothing but the right thing.

BTW...I wear a wedding ring! However, there was a time when I lost mine and went at least 4 years not wearing one.

Side Comment:

ANYTIME there is an issue with your wife feeling disrespected, insecure or whatever else when it comes to another woman..... IT IS THE HUSBANDS FAULT. THAT HAPPENS WHEN WE HAVE NOT MADE IT CLEAR WHERE OUR PRIORITIES ARE.

This is when it comes to having female " Friends"before you got married. I have a friend who's wife is having this problem with a woman at our church and I told him straight up, It's your fault. And, if that friend can not respect your wife regardless to whether or not your spouses " feelings about the woman" are valid.... cut her off!

Later you may be able to establish the friendship again as a "couple". A real friend would understand.

My wife has a fit when I forget to wear my ring.....I'm not a jewelry type of cat...
Before I got married....I wore no jewelry at all...no rings or anything...so wearing this ring is new to me....it just feels wierd......
and alot of times...I forget to put it on....

I'm like ...baby....the ring doesn't make me faithful.....My heart makes me faithful.
Meaning....ring or no ring....I'm a married man....and I always conduct myself like a married man......

My wife's answer....
Ninja Please!!....Go back to da house and put that dang ring on!!!  :D :D :D

JUST LIKE A VISA MASTER CARD I NEVER LEAVE HOME WITHOUT IT..LOL!! ;D 8) ::)

I take my ring off constantly because im not a jewelery person. So if i forget to put it on when i leave the crib, there's a spot on my finger where the pigmentation has left my finger.
BTW:Wifey pitches a fit when i leave it also...
