Married Men w/o the wedding band......hmmmm
« on: June 19, 2007, 09:21:13 PM »
Not sure if this topic's been discussed.  If so, my apologies. I wanted to get people's views on this matter.  I know some married men, saved and unsaved, who do not wear their wedding bands.  Some say they don't need a ring to let folks know their married. Some say it's uncomfortable. Chime in with your thoughts on this matter.

Thanks in advance.

Men wear your wedding rings please!!!! It causes less confusion for us single sisters. I don't like to wear rings when I play either. As soon as you get off the keyboard or whatever instrument you are playing, you could put it back on.

My wife has a fit when I forget to wear my ring.....I'm not a jewelry type of cat...
Before I got married....I wore no jewelry at all...no rings or anything...so wearing this ring is new to me....it just feels wierd......
and alot of times...I forget to put it on....

I'm like ...baby....the ring doesn't make me faithful.....My heart makes me faithful.
Meaning....ring or no ring....I'm a married man....and I always conduct myself like a married man......

My wife's answer....
Ninja Please!!....Go back to da house and put that dang ring on!!!  :D :D :D
Bunk a shout.....How you livin'??

Believe me I'm not trying to find a husband. I'm single and I know how good I have it. I've read many singles books. I know what the Word says. But men do lie and flirt and sometimes you don't know if they are married or not. I'm not trying to get a beat down from anybody's wife.  I'm a friendly person and I would talk to a married man differently than I would a single one. I'm not talking about flirting or anything dirty. Just having respect for his wife.

Yeah fam....everything else she's cool about...but when it comes to the ring...
she ain't even trying to hear it... :D

Her thing is this.....
if the women see the ring from a distance....they'll be less likely to aproach....She wanna shoot the devil down from a distance, like a sniper..... :D :D

But thats the difference between she and I.....she wears her rings.....everywhere....if we leave the house...and she forgets to put them on.....she wants me to drive back to da crib and get 'em.....she loves those rings...
I guess I should be thanking God for that. :D :D

With the job I have working on aircraft, you could lose a finger if you wear your ring when you work and the last thing I need is to take it off at work and lose it, trust me that would be so much worse then simply not wearing it.

However when I am on vacation I always wear it. It really does cut out the confusion! Altough there are some homewreckers out there that take your ring as a challenge.

Be Blessed!

I never take mine off.  If Im playin ball or doing a field excercise or something, I'll put a bandaid over it or something.  I only take it off to clean it.  Other than that, I just dont like to take it off.

A ring isn't going to stop an over zealous woman! The married man saying NO is what makes a statement, not a ring.

My husband doesn't wear a ring. He lost it 14 years ago. He has never wore rings and still doesn't and I wasn't wasting our hard earn money replacing it.

I'm confident, comfortable and secure with my marriage and my man. I certainly know that woman are going to approach him whether or not he wears a rings. Because my man is a man of integrity, I trust him to do the right thing. AND because this sister seeks to meet her husband's needs DAILY, I know he don't have time or energy to do nothing but the right thing.

BTW...I wear a wedding ring! However, there was a time when I lost mine and went at least 4 years not wearing one.
