I found this on Youtube. A couple of West side Chi-Town musicians. They're tight man. This cat Varo is killin...wow. He starts soloing at about 5:50. He tears it up. Enjoy. GB.

Ghost notes are silent but deadly. If done properly, they make a world of difference within a groove. I've been working on ghosting myself and it's becoming habitual when I play. I actually prefer ghosting over busy hi hat patterns. It just sounds better to my ears.

Truth be told, I don't think this guy is any better than DrummaSheen. Maybe I need to hear more, but I was definitely more impressed with what I heard from Sheen than him...
