POOR CARRIE!
« on: June 26, 2007, 02:48:14 PM »
For the first time since Childhood, I sat down and MADE myself watch the movie that used to scare the "bejezuz" out of me back then.  Now, I feel sorry for her rather than being afraid of her.  Did anyone else see it?

I always felt sorry for her and understood where she was coming from.

I liked Carrie 2.  I never saw the original one.  Next time it comes on T.V., I'll have to take a glance.

That was gonna be my next question.  Carrie died (offed herself...whatever) and reached through the ground in a DREAM to haunt a poor girl who had NOTHING to do with her death.  How in the world could there be a Carrie 2....and does this movie exist on VCR/DVD?

*Next Goal:  Conqueror my childhood fear of watching "The Exorcist" all alone in the house by myself...nobody around nowhere!  Gimme about two months to build my confidence, and that's project #2!  LOL!

Now the Exorcist is one movie that T-Block will not be watching.  Heck, I don't wanna see any movies about demon possession, that is too much for me right now.

I have to say that I watched Carrie at a young age, and also the Exorcist.  Of course after watching both of these movies I had to have a complete deliverance.   :)

So changedman go with God if you are going to watch the Exorcist.  I still can't watch that show it really freaked me out as a kid.

The Premise of Carrie 2 is that the gene that activated the telekinesis  in young carrie  was transmitted by her father ( who never married the mother in part 1)

Apparently papa was a rolling stone and  spreaded it around the town on the regular ( never mind the age differential)

So in carrie 2, you're not dealing with Carrie, but a half sister, with the same gift, passed on from the father.

( The movie still basically sucked, but the premise was good)

COOL!  Well there's probably a lot of burning stuff up, which works WELL for me.  Now I can't figure out why it scared me at age 8...but whatever.  Carrie 2 it is!

And the Exorcist, nah....I think I changed my mind.  I'm just mad/jealous that my two friends Tamara and Nikki can watch the Exorcist all the way through and actually LAUGH ALL THE WAY THROUGH while I bury my face in my hands every 30 seconds hoping to miss out on something scary or gross!  LOL!

Not scary at all...I usually laugh at stuff like that...you seen the Exorcist part on Scary Movie 2? Same stuff...just (in my opinion) funnier. Christine (the pink Buick) is one of my favorites

Man, u don't know me very well.  I'm a scary person, so trust me, movies like that WILL scare me.  I don't play around when it comes to demons like that cuz I know that stuff can actually happen.
