Sniper....  loved that movie "one shot one kill"

Full metal Jacket   "You can give your heart to Jesus, But yer ARSE belongs to the core"

Dirty Harry  " did I shoot 5 shots or did he shoot 6, you need to ask yourself...do I feel lucky?  Well do ya punk?"

definitely got to agree with braveheart and The Patriot.

The first sniper was actually a pretty good movie

If we gonna talk  war stories ( as action flicks):

Saving Private Ryan ( man the scene when they was charging the beach,  I had to question my loyalty to my country seeing that scene)

Glory ( Denzel should have got an oscar for this, even if it would have been supporting  actor)

Hamburger Hill

Apocalypse Now ( Classic)

My Dad got me hooked on this one: The Green Berets ( with John Wayne)

Saving Private Ryan is an awesome movie and yes it needs to be that graphic and needs to be seen.

It shows the senselessness of war....  too bad it's a necessary evil

Flags of our Fathers is a great movie as well and shows how much propaganda the government will sustain just to raise money to continue fighting a war.

OK Association so then we need 1 list of 10 " Must See Action Flicks" so we can move on to Horror.

And I don't really see Mad Max as Action. :-\ ;) I need some explosions and stuff flying all over the place. Although Mad Max was great.

Ok So give your 10 " Must See"

(in no particular order)

1. 300
2. Heat
3. Alien
4. Full Metal Jacket
5. Die Hard
6. Matrix II
7. Blade II
8. Mission Impossible
9. Desparado
10. Rambo
7.

Top Ten Action, huh?

No order:

1. The Bourne Identity
2. Raiders of the Lost Ark
3. Die Hard
4. Any of the Mission Impossible movies
5. The Matrix
6. L.A. Confidential
7. Scarface
8. Reservoir Dogs
9. Fight Club
10. The Usual Suspects

Much harder than I thought it would be because of the mix of genres.

This is really hard for me, so I'm naming 10.  Another 20 could also make it to my top ten, so I'm just naming any 10 (in no particular order):

1-3 Any of the Lord of the Ring movies
4. Saving Private Ryan
5. Terminator 2
6. Ben-Hur
7. Mr and Mrs Smith
8. Apocalypse Now
9. Dr. No
10. From Russia With Love
