thank ye...

but seriously we have to agree that nearly all of hollywood's productions are not only secular but carnal.  There is questionable content in everything.  We just have to educate ourselves and teach our children what is right and what is sin.  Also that a movie is a movie and it not reality, computers and special effects make the impossible possible.  Do not try at home!

Yes sir we can agree on your points. I should clarify and say for my children, Harry Potter is not ok but neither is Die Hard or Friday or training Day or Teh Godfather for that matter. ;D ;)

Let's let sleeping dogs lie, gentlemen before this thread takes a turn in another direction. ;)

WE will have no Drama in this Association. We will as always have spirited conversation and at the end of the day, still be together. ;)

Which brings up another issue Xmen 3 did stinkup the joint in my honest opinion. My question is if the kidd could " remove" or cleanse mutants of their powers, Jane should have been done.

And why did they make Wolverine so "soft". I mean Wolverine is Wolverine!! :-\

I really refuse to delve into a debate on the issues involved in such a terrible movie as X-Men 3. Let's move on. >:(

Exactly...

we make our 8 yr old son leave the room during such shows as CSI, Jerico (yahoo it's back), and other such graphic prime time shows.  If he happens to pass through during something graphic I quickly explain to him that it's make up and special effects.

So though he enjoys Shrek, Toy Story, Nemo, Eragon, and what movies we allow him to see with supervision... he understands that toys don't talk, dragons are not real, people can not fly and fish can not talk... (mr limpet was way before nemo).  He wants to see spiderman 3, he has seen the other two on dvd.  I can actually say to him... wow that looked real and he understands and still appriciates the magic of special effects

we don't normally watch the news, one they are on too long, and two there is so much violence in the world.

I hate to admit this to you all, but have you ever seen The Ringer?

It started off really mean, but the true purpose of the film came out loud, and clear.

I agree, Wolverine wasn't his usual self in that movie.  Besides, they killed off the best villain of the movie, Mystique.  After that, I didn't even wanna watch it anymore.

Wow, that's a whole lotta news!  Do they repeat every hour, or is it all different?
