Need a mentor

I was wondering if there was any guitar player in the Washington,DC metro area willing to mentor a young hungry intermedate player. I wanna be able to riff and play along in church. If anyone could help I would be grateful.

I grew up about 8 blocks away from your church at the intersection of Queens Chapel Rd & East-West Highway. Went to Hyattsville Jr. High & Northwestern Sr. High.....the OLD ones!  :o

I'm another one that needs help in Maryland.  I'm not even sure what areas I need help with, I just want to improve as a guitarist.
