I love effects so that's why he's my favorite bassist. He may not have started it but look where he took effects on the bass.

You are on the 1! Lakeside laid it down with plenty of funk. It doesn't matter what era you grew up in, 60's, 70's, 80's or later...the bass is the foundation of 99.99% of all songs...when people try to get you to know a song they sing the bassline usually and don't even know it. Without the bass, there is no"groove" ..so don't leave home with out it.
