Keyboard vs. Bass Guitar

If u can play basslines on the bass do u think it would be easy to play basslines on the keyboard? would playing the bass helping u learn how to play basslines on the keyboard quicker?

It's easy for me b/c I know the notes on both but Bass is easier for me than piano.

You almost have to aproach bass and keybass as seperate instruments.  While they have the same function, technique and soundwise they are completely different. There are things that you can do on bass (switch from slap to fingerstyle, ghost notes, muted notes...etc) that you can't do on keybass and vice versa.

I play both instruments, and they both help out each other in some way or another.  As far as technique, there is no comparision, they are two seperate things, but has far as creativity: playing the keys' help with the bass and the bass helps with the keys when i play.  But like i said, technique, you're using different muscles in your hand and wrist, just like playing basketball and soccer.  The only benefit is probably using all the muscles in your wrist, hands, and fingers.
