New Ddrum Kit pics....
« on: July 22, 2007, 07:33:30 PM »
Here's a couple pics, sorry that I'm in them, but these are the only ones that I have...lol

10-12-16 and 22x20 beast mode kick...it is Kraziee!!! the new Redburst finish
G2's top coated, and vented EQ2 bass head
Sounds coming real soon...
FYI... I was skeptical about getting this kit, the ol' saying, "don't knock till you try it" really showed itself being true on this one... these drums tuned up so EZ, and I didn't have to sand down the inside shells, (a lil trick to get more resonance out of your toms for this dense wood) if you know what you're doing, I would say the sound is a mixture of oak and maple...if you're a birch fan dont even dare, because these babies tap loud... now I did have this kit setup right beside a Pearl Master custom kit and......well thats another topic, well enjoy pics if you can, N-E questions hit me up...
Be Blessed

this is probably my fav stack...it's a 16in oriental trash mounted on a Pearl X-Hat, withe a 14in A-custom on top, and its adjustable as well, so you can have a real tite quick trash can sound, or the way I play medium loose

and yea these are the Ash series

Wait a minute dude!  What kind of tom mounting system is that?   ?/?  I have never seen that kind on the Ash series.  Did they change the hardware recently?

No, on his first thread regarding how he obtained this kit, he stated that he was changing the tom mounts to the Pearl Optimount system.  It's the same one that the Masters uses.

Yassuh - it's not restricted to the manufacturer's hardware, such as DW, Tama, Yamaha, Sonor, et al.
