Weekend Shed......HAVE A BLESSED WEEKEND
« on: August 03, 2007, 03:51:19 PM »
To all of my bassist family who will be playing at church service this week or possibly at another outing, may God and the Spirit of the Lord be with you and you play unto HIM. I pray that you will be able to perform to the best of you GOD given talent....have fun, learn, grow and be Blessed....

I appreciate this site and all of those who share their knowledge, experience and wisdom. I have learned from all levels. Remember if someone tries to steal your joy it isn't them but satan who is trying to discourage you from doing God's work in the music ministry. Satan is mad because he once was head of the music ministry and now he is doomed forever and he is trying to take as many of us with him while trying to take the Glory away from GOD.

He is an Awesome GOD!!

Now go forth and THUMP IN THE CHRIST!!
May God's Grace & Mercy smile upon you!

I hear you!  I'm about to use this last dead hour at work to put these new fatbeams on my Roscoe and get ready for rehearsal tonight!

Well, we rocked the house in the name of the Lord today at church.....We jammed "God's in control of my life" by Wilmington Chester Mass Choir.....our lead guitarist was doing his Reggie Wooten imitation....we had great service and the music ministry enhanced it all the way around....I hope everyone else had a blessed service as well....
May God's Grace & Mercy smile upon you!

the lord showed up in our place during praise & worship. they were starting to sing "you are good" by israel and I was in the back of the church ushering so my brother suggested i go play cause the organist was gonna butcher the song. so i walked up grabbed my bass and we jammed out.
quebass, maybe u need to add to this post every weekend!

Give all the Glory to GOD...I am happy and pleased that you had a great experience....I must say since joining this sight, I have been so blessed in my playing, practices at church and my other groups. I get so inspired and have learned so much. I pray each week that everyone playing will have a blessed experience and that GOD will be pleased with our performance. Satan is out there and what better way to kill a service or message than to kill the music ministry first....That is a great song also...
May God's Grace & Mercy smile upon you!
