You know this is interesting. Today, in Bible Study, we talked about forgiveness. I told my testimony, and another guy got up and blew us all away. He's from Sierra Leon. He had both his hands cut off by raiders, when they had their civil war in the 90s. He later met the guy who did it, face to face, while coming out of a store. He said he talked to him and said that he forgave him....Deep. My wife talked to him after service and said she would have killed the dude, if it was her. He says now, though, that he's suffered enough at the hands of people that were out to do him bad, so if he was in the position again, he'd try to kill the person first.
