Sure it's disheartening, but we all know that not all church folks really know God.  So, this really is no different from any other story that proves we're not where we ought to be.

As I watched that video I began to cry.  This is why the world is dying.  How can we the body of Christ expect the world to hunger for what we have when we are no different than them.

I can understand the little old lady getting out of sorts, but my brother what happened to him.  He completely lost all understanding of why he is a shepherd.  As Jesus stated, they are sheep without a shepherd wandering.  I pray that God cleans house, and that the entire church body is cleansed.  In Jesus name.

The comment was alluding to the fact that you ALWAYS seem to post a lot of church-related negativity through the media outlets (video or some news article). THAT'S IT.

Now, if you try to deny that, then you're a liar and the truth's NOT in ya.

So are you agreeing that it's okay for the sheep to jump the shepherd. Remember, they voted him in and due process will take him out. She should have kept her hands to herself, it's not who acts out, but how you re-act is what stirs up mess.

Oh by no means my brother do I think it is O.K. for any person to lay hands suddenly on another.  What I was saying because my husband, and I have been where this brother was.  That he should have not lost himself, and allowed the enemy to push him to that place.  Because he was not fighting flesh, and blood, but spirits, and principalities.

I post news that I think will be of interest to.... *gasp*  CHURCH PEOPLE.  lol    And let's face it, the average person ('cept maybe SB, Sis T and Nessa) isn't the LEAST BIT interested in hearing "good" news... lol.  Well shucks, that's the average person in the world!  Like Mama said, "Bad news flies, good news dies."

4.Calling for the Intercessors - Re: News Item (attempted murder of a pastor's wife) - A SINCERE PRAYER REQUEST that had nothing to do with showing the church in a negative light.  That woman was mentally ill, and probably not a reflection of the church.
5.The Business of Faith: Black Megachurches... (neutral subject matter) - COMPLIMENT, NEWS ITEM as I said in the thread, I was impressed that a secular paper could discuss this matter without trying to dog men of God.
6.The Vent (church leaders failure to give) - NEGATIVE  And I haven't looked through the archives, but I'm sure I'm the first person here to vent their frustration... 

Clearly, my threads are too "negative" for you kind folks, so I'll take my HONEST stuff elsewhere and give you guys all the cutesy, frilly, the-church-and-all-its-members-are-so-wonderful threads.
