Hi everyone,

I had the idea of printing out quotes to pin up on my wall to help encourage/keep me focused while drumming away on the practise set...
I just had this thought pop into my head (pretty much now) while sitting here at work (with my mind on my DW practise kit at home

).

Thought it would be a great idea for everyone to share specific (not random make-you-feel-gooey-all-over/pondering-the-meaning-of-life) quotes that will encourage us all as drummers.

If you do post a quote write a little sumthin' bout why these specific quotes help ground you & pull you through the rough drumming patches.

NOTE: If there are really good ones... I'm gonna print them off & post them on my wall.

I'll start first (This is already hanging on my wall in my practice room)...

I got this one from Cherri aaagges ago. This really spoke to me back when I had just arrived on the LGM scene cause I wasn't really interested in reading music (I could read a little) but Sabe schooled me (via PMs) & Cherri just happened to post this up in a thread (And I've never looked back since!):

You Are Your Only Limitation.

This one is pretty self explanitory. A lot of times we let "us" get in the way of ourself. Its kinda an interesting "extention" if you will of Phil. 4:13 "I can do all things thru Christ wich strengthens me."

If it is said that we can do ALL things thru Christ, what stops us from doing things. As believers, it is written that we have the power to do ALL things thru HIM.

I don't want to get too preachy because i'm not that guy, but thats the basis of it.

I keeps it basic...Php 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
