Sad... sad.... but.... I dont like Go-Go. it sounds like..... a bunch of clatter. Especially the new Go-Go. it's just a bunch of mess now. Before, when the lyrics and music quality was clear, it was fine. but now this new stuff is just a mess! cant hear what people are saying; turning good songs into crappy Go-Go *sounding this word out* mon.stro.si.ties  (sp way off? lol)
IDK... but i stay away from the go-go junk.

Wow.  How burtal....but I'm not much of a go-go fan either.  When I was a kid, I kinda' sora' liked it because I had gotten used to it I guess.  I even played in a go-go band once....definatley not the best format to demonstrat true musical proficiency.  Go-go always and forever will be a DC thing; it just doesn't what it takes to go mainstream.  Remember when EU got some national attention?  And then they tried to do that "Good To Go" movie that basically bombed?  Go-go is a raw musical style that works best in a live setting...studio stuff just aint go-go.  You just have to be a go-go head to really appreciate the music though.  Even EU tried to do some mainstream R&B before the sun set on their 7.5 seconds of "fame".  And then there's the whole issue of the go-go clubs, especially back in the day.  Never been to one which may be a contributing factor to me still being alive today  (besides; mom and pops wasn't havin' that mess).

It's so clattery if it's played on the radio.. it just sounds like....people are running all over, breathing heavily, and doing the "Kingy Louie Monkey Dance" (<- one of a kind) while trying to sgin. that just doesnt work for me lol.
