I like Durantula.  He reminds me of my favorite player from days gone by, Ice Man.  They said Durant was too thin but we've seen great players of his stature do just fine.

Shaq and Ilgauskas are going to have to get Dwight Howard in foul trouble early for the Cavs to blow past them.  The problem for the Cavs comes in the fact that anyone from the Magic can launch a 3 pointer at any second if you make a mistake.

The Magic are definitely no pushovers.  Dwight Howard is 3rd in my MVP voting.  He's a monster.

Teams to watch:

1. Cavs- if their ego stays they wont make it.. orlando, boston are watching.. and James still will go pout...

2. Lakers- dont be fooled by kobe resting, he is a warrior.. bynum coming back and they have a deep bench that finally is scoring. They are hard team to beat in a series. They are deep too, the be sent fishing early...

3. Boston- dont sleep on this team, they are healthy (about time)

4. dallas- well the sun shine on a dogs behind every once in a while. They also got a tough guy with a back bone and he isnt german(hahah)

5. Spurs- I can finally watch this team on tv without feeling like I am watching paint dry.. They got faster and younger... but they are not getting a Ring this year..

6. orlando- even so this team is a dark horse if they get hot cavs are out fishing sooner then they think.

7. Heat- They are the 4th best in defence this year so far but boston, orlando, cavs and even Hawks are better this year. I wonder if james and wade join together if they really want a ring so badly..

8. Thunder/ bobcats- I put these two together because they are in the same boat. yes, boat fighting a battleship.. Not this year but they are up and coming..

over all this year will be a great playoff matchups... but the big dogs are still big dogs!!!

*sigh*  I remember the days when my Bulls were the #1 seed playing the #8 seeded Cavs.  Things have turned upside down.  That's alright.  We can still shock the world!  We HAVE beaten them twice this year.

Bulls are gonna get swept. I still think Bobcats can make their series against Orlando interesting.

...that I can agree with.  It's pretty hard to not play your best in the Playoffs when you have His Airness sitting on the sidelines watching you play.  They're going to have to play at 100% 120% every game or they'll hear it from the former Tar Heels. You can beat them twice in the playoffs too, but still lose the other four.  lol

I look forward to seeing Rose and Lebron on the floor at the same time.

It's funny how my interest in Basketball is marginal till the playoffs.   :D

Boy, did they!  He and the Thunder will adjust.  If they do, he likely won't be the offensive focus of game two.  Likely, Westbrook will be the initial threat, which will free up opportunities for Durant.

I think nerves played a part too.  It was his very first playoff game.

The Lakers looked better than the Thunder, but they still didn't look great.  Right now I don't think they could be the Mavs or the Cavs.

That was crazy.  I bet Paul Pierce was like, "dang,a brotha can't even get hurt in peace w/o folks stomping all over him".

Per the part in bold, it's very possible, though I've never seen this kid appear nervous.  And I agree that the Lakers don't look unbeatable.  Bynum looked good, but gee, who was covering him?  LOL.

Noah says: Cleveland sucks

Lebron says: 40pts, 8 rebs, 8 asts.

I don't think it makes a difference what Noah says.   :D
