yeah
We are always talking about putting spikes or lasers on it.
Naw but it's supposed to be an autonomous robot that is supposed to go around picking up blocks. It's my senior design project in my engineering class
Sounds neat.
Some of the guys in my electronics class in high school actually built a small robot during our senior year.
This was 1984 and robots were not very common so it was a bit of a challenge for them.
I, not being chosen for the robot team, built a Heathkit dual-trace oscilloscope.
Strangely enough, when I moved out to Cali I eventually got involved in theme park animatronics, doing work for Six Flags, Disney, Knotts, Landmark, and a bunch of other themed attractions and museums around the world and worked on the first couple Child's Play movies and the old Tales From the Crypt tv show.
What's even stranger is that I could not stand it. I got no joy at all from that job. Animatronics bores me to no end.
Weird, huh?
I got involved in it again when I moved back east...the career path that's like a ghost which continues to haunt me

Thankfully, I left that job over a year ago and I'm a happier man for it.

Maybe we should start a "Job History of the Guitar Player" thread?
