That's a very debatable statement; especially while there's a guy named Tom Brady still playing and with more rings on his fingers.

a. Brady has the same intangibles as Manning (play calling ability, accuracy, etc)
b. Brady has had LESS of a supporting cast than Manning (i.e. a guy I like to call Marvin Harrison)
c. So now, coordinators win Super Bowls. (Name, without going to google or NFL.com, the offensive and defensive coordinators for the Niners during their Super Bowl run. The ONLY way you can do that is if you're a fan of that team.) In addition, I don't remember those guys being ON the field to help Brady MAKE the plays.

d. The Steelers had the 'immaculate reception'; The Niners had, 'The Catch', so don't try to dismiss Brady's Super Bowl victories by sheer 'luck'.
e. Say what you will, but even though Manning gets all the pub, he didn't get any REAL 'street cred' until he FINALLY won the Big One.
f. Winning the Big One is what it's ALL about. You're not in sports JUST to get to the Hall of Fameunless you're Jim Brown or Barry Sanders

Man, stop comparing apples and oranges. You wanna try to dwindle my whole post down to this ONE point, that's it.

You wanna miss the fact that Brady and Manning have similar, if not the same, intangibles.
You wanna miss the fact that Brady has NEVER had the WR connection that Manning has enjoyed for so many years.
You wanna miss the fact that coordinators ONLY draw up the plays but it's the PLAYERS who execute.

The only bright spot was the defense. They only had 3 points (defensively) and gave up 6 on the K.O. return. That bodes well as they prepare for the New England Patriots.

Marion Barber needs to be THE GUY, (the way he was on those last two drives), in the redzone, no matter which direction the Cowboys are facing. Even when he had a big run, Julius Jones looked unsure of himself.

Boy, you sho' is reachin' on that one. MB runs hard and would run hard regardless. I'd like to see him tote the rock for a full game, just for kicks; and let's see what happens.
