cool stuff....

and to anyone that doesn't think scales are important, that's all major pentatonic wiht a little major scale and double stops that are diatonic to that scale. if you learn your scales you could listen to it with your eyes closed and be playing it in 5 minutes. that's why theory IS important, and will just make you that much more proficient on the guitar.

thanks for sharing Uriah.

hey uriah,

I know this might seem silly, but I never thought about how to connect the two different chord shape together.  Thanks for opening my eyes  8)

...That's not silly at all...that's why I show it.....There are way too many people out there who can talk about music...but cant play...they cant put it all together!....So I help with that part.....

Then as you go on and see how the theory fits, it will lead you to other ideas....

Gibby, that's one thing that really opened my eyes in soloing, is how the scale shapes link together. Chords will do the same.

Scales are built around a lot of the chord shapes... hmm... think about that. They all go hand-in-hand.

I've been wanting to re-do my pentatonic vids with more detail, and to exemplify that linking.

That's a good vid, Uriah. I use some of that stuff now, but I'll be sure to add the rest of it in there.

Oh, and this proves that Uriah DOES have a head lol.  ;)
