Where are you, Marvin McQuitty ?

I defintely believe Marv made a great decision by switching and playing for Isreal...Isreal is taking over and just how Fred was on top for years in terms of music, I defintely believe Isreal along with Aaron Lindsay is gonna do the same. My man Joey on Bass who plays with Harry Thompson is doing the Winterfest shows all over the country and Isreal is also there. He said Marvin really gets to showcase more of his skills with Israel because on Fred's stuff, he played real straight most of the time.

Lets just say (without getting too, too personal)... Sometimes we feel as people and musicians and professionals that it's time to challenge yourself all over again and also experience a new atmosphere.. thats what I got from our convo..  but He is very happy in Houston w/ Isreal.  So I am happy for the brother, we dont need to keep questioning the move, lets just support our brother... aiight?

I agree totally with the last post. I know that personally as a musician I am always looking for a new challenge and new ways to birth new ideas and grow in my craft. Marvin McQuitty is without a doubt my favorite drummer. He is extremely talented, and gifted, but most of all, he is annointed. And thats what separates him from so many others. The world is full of talented drummers, but a truly annointed drummer who is not ashamed to let his light shine even amongst the secular world is hard to find these days. As long as God is leading him, it doesn't matter who he is playing for. I love the switch and I am behind him 100% on it. God bless you Marvin.
