Just throwing something out at you;if there enough people would like to get involve, and if your TIME is able, let me throw this at you. What if we would surmit,a song to you,you play it and break down the way you do.We pay you for the video. If you not able to do,it is cool, you still the MAN

Man Rown, that is a good idea. Not only would it show how to play the song, but in breaking it down,it would give clarity and understanding to alot of other similar or like songs. ;) :)
If God is for me,who can be against me.

I don't have a problem with that at all but there are some conditions!...It will cost you $100.00 per song...and I do it for you the way I would play it!..No ARGUMENTS!....NO SOLO'S....NO INSIGNIFICANT PARTS. Just the song the way I would play it if I was asked to learn it for a choir!

The reason I don't do this normally is because it is very time consuming to learn it and document it the way that I am accustom to playing.....and some songs these days have poly-chords in them so picking a chord that fits the bill is also very time consuming!....

I rarely just learn the guitar part in a song, because for the most part the actual guitar part is not written buy a guitarist...with a guitarist in mind!...So I listen to the song and learn the song not the guitar part alone....

I guess what I am saying that you don't need Uriah to copy stuff....

well, if it's a session guitarist doing the work, they take input from the producer, but they come up with the parts. everytime i go into the studio i get a chart and some notes from the producer, hear the track and go. if it's cool then it's done. if they want somethign different then i get feedback and get creative. th eonly time i have gotten SPECIFIC instructions on what to play is if there is something they just have to hear the guitar doing, and that's fine too.

said all that to say that most of the guitar stuff is actually created by the player.

anyway, if i ever get a webcam that works correctly, i wouldn't mind doing stuff like that every now and then if it would help out.

...All of that may be true....but you'll note my statement was...'written buy a guitarist...with a guitarist in mind!'.......... :-* :-* :-* :-* 8)

Meaning that the part is written ...with the SONG in mind so the guitar part is usually not significant when played alone!

My purpose would be to play it in a much fuller and more commanding manner and not just doodle til the solo came with a chord here and there! :-*

....let me cut to the chase!....This is a great idea....but to get me to do something that is not on my "to do" list will cost ya!.....$100.00 was not a typo!....$250.00 was my way of saying...."if you cant afford the $100.00....." maybe you are asking the wrong guy!

.....Ya see I get a lot done because I try not to stray from my plan. Every time someone asks me to do something special, I consider it straying from my plan....so I charge for it!... ;D

oh i know man, i wasn't trying to be argumentative. i guess maybe what guys that want the songs done should decide is whether they want to play them in a solo guitar context or in a band context.....does that make sense?? either way, know i wasn't trying to say you were wrong, i was trying to show the other side of it, sometimes that's hard to see on the internet.
