NEW PIANO
« on: October 17, 2007, 10:37:41 AM »
Hello Everyone!

My 27th  year anniversary, Christmas, and my birthday is just around the corner-----I just left SAM's.  I saw the most elegant Grand Piano.  It's just B E A U T I F U L!!!!!  It's the G-33 Digatal Grand.  With tax and all, it'll probably run around $2100.00-2200.00.  That's not the problem.  My question is do you guys---THE EXPERTS--- think this is a good buy.  I saw another one at at music store and it was nice also---but not at pretty-I think it was a Yamaha.

Oh, by the by, I'm not a "fantastic pianist" by any means.  But my husband is on board with my purchasing a new one.  In the years to come, I plan to teach beginning lessons---I'll use my old one for that.

These are some of the features:

The G-33 is a digital piano that never needs tuning. An amazing combination of 128 voices, rhythms and recording features creates endless musical possibilities. Stereo and 3D instrument voices create astonishing acoustic sound realism. Compose and save your own songs with the onboard five track recorder. Save and playback practice sessions on floppy disk. You can create your own music library with songs you download from the internet. Sing along with music disks. Karaoke lyrics can be displayed on the piano or through your TV with included cable!

Do you thinks this is a good piano?

Let me have your opions---it's a seasonal item.

Thanks in advance!
I'm playing for God's Glory--not man's. LILFINGERS

have you ever thought about purchasing an acoustic piano??  I'm not really a big fan of digital pianos (only as keyboards).

Looking at the price and the features I guess most of the money is going into the casing. You could get those same features for less than $800 on a 88 key keyboard.
Vision without action is just day dreaming. I miss practicing.

I agree with Mysteryman, unless you want to spend that kind of money you could get three keyboards for that amount. Check these out

$799.99

$649.99
