Evans Drumheads Tuning Clinic Tour/ Orlando

When: Tuesday October 23, 2007

Time: 6:30 Pm

Absolutely FREE!!!

* The first 10 people in the building that bring their snare will receive an Evans Drumhead and will have their snare drum tuned.*

...if you're having problems tuning or just don't know how to tune a drum, be there as there will be tons of information shared and many prices given away from Evans Drumheads and Drums2go Five Star drumshop.

I love Evans Drumheads. I would like to attend something like that.

Hello ya'll, it appears as though I cannot post a new topic. My guess is because I am new and don't have a certain amount of posts? So, I have a specific question, which is the reason why I joined. How can I ask it without a new topic? Would I just find a similar topic and post it there? Someone please help.

Nobody from LGM.

No sir i did not get a snare tuned, i was not one of the first ten people to arrive.

The clinic was about 45 to 55 minutes long. There were some things that i learned then there were things that i knew. I did not know that at the starting point of tuning, the resonant side of the tom should be tuned at a lower pitch than the batter side. He (Josh T. dont know how to spell last name) said that most people think that at the starting point of tuning a drum that the reso side should be at a higher pitch. He was basically giving some basic knowledge on tuning. Then he gave steps to tuning. He also talked about the difference between coated heads and clear heads. The rest was just up for questions.
