Yeah, he does a good job but nobody does it like Marcus! This guy is good though. He has that old school thumpin' style which I identify more with!

I agree, there is only one M2, I hear what your saying about those single coil pickups....I love that Fender growl sound and when you thumpin on a fender especially playing M2 that is a sweet sound.... I know you be killin that single coil to DWbass!  :)

Oh yea I LUV this video, first saw it some months back and couldn't stop watching it's like I fell in luv :D (I'm talkin bout di bass guitar so don't get it twisted 8)).

finally a bassist that was actually playing like a bassist instead of like a guitarist. He would be useful in a group!

You are right on point Uriah....I love the way he "attacks" the bass but is still in full control.

   way back when...(in the stone age...)I was about 16 I think!...I played in a group called Garys Empire as a guitarist.  This was my 1st opportunity to play with a famous group. So we were at a rehearsal/audition because Gary was looking for a drummer.  Two drummers showed up......Chick Coreas return to forever drummer!....and a guy from Ashford and Simpson...(sorry..no name dropping!)

Everyone was buggin because playing with the Return to forever drummer was going to be such an honor.....When he played it was like we all died and went to funk heaven!....Then when the other guy  got his turn it was nothing fabulous at all ,but perfect for the group. The return to forever guys playing BLEW the other drummers playing away....but it was useless to the group and the music that was being played....and he new what we were playing cuz we played it at the audition...but he still played like a mad man....(dude was outstanding)

I say this to say...this bass players video shows his value in the real world....and if more bassists played like that...we wouldn't have so many...confused bassists...(cant find the bottom for playin chords and guitar riffs!)

The brother who unfortunantly didn't get that gig however did put a group together that did have a good album that actually had a hit that stemmed from it.
