You're getting a guitar with TWO SAMARIUM COBALT pickups?!? :o

Don't you need a licence from the Nuclear Regulatory Agency or Homeland Security
to operate equipment like that?  ?/?

I think I saw a movie where Jean-Claude Van Damme and Gary Busey were chasing a Russian military
bad guy that stole a bunch of that stuff...I guess to sell to Fender it appears.    :o :o

I don't think those are SCN's.  In fact, the guitar even has a vintage-style tremolo (curent and previous versions of the AmDlx Strat use the 2-point, American Standard bridge).  It also has the roller-bearing nut.  Is it something from the Custom Shop?

you are going love that guitar i played one at my local guitar center. the scn pickups sound great thats why i bought myself a set and put them in a guitar a already had.every where a play my guitar around other guitar  players  are getting the scn pickups installed in thier guitars. but you are special you got that s-1 switch it takes you to the next level.enjoy your new toy.

That's cool, man. It's nice to see an explanation of the S1 thing. When it came out, no one in the stores understood it lol.

well, i have quite a few guitars that i feel are real guitars....but most of these guys are Strat dudes, so i thought they'd dig it, lol.

She' a beauty! I am looking at getting the less expensive model of that Strat within the next couple months. I can't reach up there yet!
