We have to look at some very real facts in records to this subject of what musicians were chosen and the show concept itself. The show is offering Urban Christian Entertainment. Stop acting like everything is about some "tradition laidened ministry". As Christians we preach and complain that there is no wholesome entertainment opportunities for the "kingdom" then when are not ready to accept the manifestation of what we ask for.

As far as the band gig goes, the need here is for experience television/show musicians not stage/concert musicians. There are time constraints and arrangement scenarios's that require experience. Time is money. Ray Chew and the Crew just like Ricky Mionr and the Band have proven themselves to be able to become invisible and chameleon like to effectively play for a variety of vocal talent in these type of television show constraints.

If the Urban "Church" would actually develop the Gospel Industry as a kingdom entity instead of piggybacking off the established secular recording industry then there would be more of a pool to pull from. For this to happen however we have to drop the "churchiousity" and commit to showing ourselves approved workman in or chosen and or gifted arenas. We have to hold ourselves to the established standards and raise the bar to true excellence and proven skill. These are biblical qualities that are required not just man-made (truley read Proverbs from beginning to end to understand). Only at this point of establishing true kingdom in earth framework can the Gospel industry be truely established. God gave us power to get wealth and as the first church did bring all things in common. But even then one has to show himself diligent steward and worthy of our pay. We cannot put our hands to the plow (continue to look back) and think that the Spirit instead of reasonable service of stewardship and stewardship will make room for us through our gift. A faithful servant can and often will rule over a foolish (undisciplined, unprepared, fearful, rebellious etc or simply not his time) son even if he can smash/rip/blow/and has chops.

Thanks Sabe.......you said what I was tryin to earlier........good looks

I want to thank Sabianknight for what was said. We as Christian period must understand that God can work through whom ever he wishes to work through. The bible saids, But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;. Meaning, his word is not going to return to him void, but it's going to accomplish what it was set out to do. See the problem is with us church folk, we think that we got all the answers, we think that we're so intouched with God that we forget that God is God, he can do whatever he wants to do, how he wants to do it, and when he wants to do it. Perfect example, did you all see this past Tuesday's show. Eventhough man wants to do it his way, however that that maybe, God step in and took it in his hands. So we need to chill and be loving and understanding, knowing that God Is Love. When we stop judging and pointing fingers, we will then see the true manifestation of the power of God.
