His mom is an "import"  :D but his dad, a native NYer is the one who named him. Thankfully, it's not ghetto, though. He's named after Booker T. Washington.

Still a weird name though... even if a hero had it first... lol

I know a couple that named one of their sons Arrid after  Arrid X-tra dry deodorant.

I heard of a man here in Mississippi, him and his wife have 11 children, when the last one was born he name him Thelastone.

I know of someone named "Equator". If you're wondering, no, they don't have any siblings named "Tropic of Cancer" or "Latitude".I've also had old relatives (born in early 1900's) with names like "General", "Major", "Lawyer", and even "3-in-1" (after the oil!).

I met a guy named General George Washington.  He went by G.G. Washington

Remember back when Eddie Murphy was on Saturday Night Live and he had that pimp character named Velvet Jones?  Well, my sister went to school with a young caucasian lady and her name was guess what?  Yep, Velvet Jones.  I know she caught it when that skit debuted.  So these names do transcend race.

I used to work with a girl named Rotunda.  Her mother must have been a psychic because she was a big girl(BBW).

My former schoolmate from my school was named Lincoln Balls. That name always make me laugh.

And also the strangest name i heard (which is probably not considered to be strange for yall) is Maximilian. He is one of the musicians in my church.

I was born in Italy, and I know the story of that 19-th century Italian guy who was a revolutionary and named his kids "Revo", "Lutio" and "Nary".
