I am doing much better today. Big Daddy had to go to the office & the girls are asleep, so I decided to sneak onto the computer.

The surgery went well. However, I have been in a lot of pain since Monday. A WHOLE LOT of pain. Knee surgery HURTS!!! I am finally starting to feel some relief today. You know the pain was over the top when my good friend who is a cardiologist kept urging me to call my doctor. She didn't let up on me, so I finally made the call this morning. I just needed a higher strength of pain meds.

Haven't been sleeping good at night because of the discomfort, but I am sure that is going to start getting better.

I don't know what my knee looks like yet. It has been bandaged from my thigh all the way to my ankle. My family has been taking very good care of my by not allowing me out of the bed ----this is my first time out of the bed, so I will go back in the bed in a minute.

I had micro-fracture knee surgery 2 months ago. Best move I made. The process was a bit of a struggle, finally made off the crutches and cane. It will be another 6 to 8 months before I'm 100%, but no knee pain or swelling. Listen to your MD and therapist. Most of all listen to your body. Don't rush it, the ministry and everybody will still be there! Praying for your full return in health.
