Hooking up a Mixer
« on: November 30, 2007, 10:49:16 AM »
Okay, this is the mixer I have:

I was given the mixer as a present but I'm still sort of new to the equipment aspect of musicianship and I have NO IDEA how to hook it up. I have a Korg TR Music Workstation keyboard and a Roland KC-350 Amp that I'm trying to hook it up to.

Does anyone know how to hook this up or have a resource that can walk me through it? Much thanks.  :)

i would use a 1/4 instrument cable to plug the korg TR from the keyboard into channel one on the mixer at the the top. over near the top right of the mixer you should see inputs that say headphones, main out or control room out, i would run another 1/4 cable from the main out into the input on the amp, and should have sound assuming you have a built in speaker in your amp, if you just have a regular amp you can run a 1/4 cable from the amp into a big speaker. if you need more help let us know

Alright bro, thanks. I'm going to try that when I get to the church. Hopefully it'll work.
