First of all, congratulations! :)  I will definitely keep you and the new group in my prayers.

But I'm kind of confused. :-\  Reading your post, I understood the group to be a "community" group, but then at the end, you mentioned the support of some school?  Would that be Virginia Tech?

I know an incredible drummer (female) that lives in Richmnd... Do you have all the musicians you need?

It is a organization under Virginia Tech, but with the markings of a community choir.  This was to receive funding from the school as well as having a place on campus to rehearse

I have a set of musicians, but I would hate for a person to have to travel that far.  I'll definitely give you more information as we start to actually have rehearsals. :)

Congrats and best of luck. You are doing a wonderful thing for alot of people and possilby be changing some lives. I know i'm thankful for my group leader founding our group. He has really gathered together a great group of annoited young people that are able to share with others. There are so many words to describe what we bring. I'm very excited for you!
