FL Studio. Thoughts?
« on: December 04, 2007, 04:44:20 PM »
I'm looking into purchasing the FL Studio software, but I wanted some opinions from a few people who have it here first. I know a few people have it. Is it any good? What are some of the nice features included? When playing around with the demo, I was able to strip songs so that I could only hear Vocals or Instruments or whatever else I desired. Is that included in the final version as well? It also showed a keyboard display that marked all of the chords played in the song. Because it was a trial song included with the software, I wasn't so sure if this could be done with regular songs purchased off of iTunes or something.

So basically, thoughts? Thanks.

As far as I know, the only difference between the demo and full versions of FL Studio is the ability to save your work. Saving is disabled in the demo version.

I have FL Studio 7. I been using fruityloops since version 3.5
I only used it to make tracks but there is a lot more to it than that. It is definetly worth getting. especially since you get all the extras and free upgrades for life.

Dude, get it!!!
Give a man chords to a song, you help him for a day. Teach him theory and you help forever!!!

Thanks for all the insight. I think I'm going to be looking into it. I played around with the demo and it's very intriguing.
