LOL! I've been waiting on this for almost two years now. Now that it's almost done, I suppose I should learn how to play, huh?  ;D I will post new pics next week after the tobacco burstizm is applied...

mmmm..Nice...How many string though...The best thing that I like from what I see is the fat neck...I alwayslike my neck fat and wide... :)

Honestly, IMHO, MTD is the best bass around... period! Mike Tobias sets the standard for excellence among luthiers. If you are on the fence about buying a custom bass, trust me, treat yourself to a custom MTD. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. Mike knows wood so well that all you have to do is describe the sound you want and he'll do the rest.

Let me get on my knees right now, asking GOD for my blessing in advance. OMG, that MTD is a beauty! Yes, I too am a big fan of Michael Tobias. I play 5 string and can't wait for the day I can put a call in or visit the MTD site to place my custom order!

I actually like the look before the stain had been applied, but still your bass in gorgeous! I hope you don't find this rude, but we all are Christians, right? How much did your MTD cost you and how long did it take Michael to start and finish? And does Michael make each ordered MTC bass personally himself?

Again, I hope by my asking the damage wasn't an out of line question. YOu see, I gotta know exactly what I'm asking GOD for; you know, lol... For we have not cause we ask not....
