What does all that nonsense have to do with the title of the post? Perhaps I will never know... perhaps I will never care... *sigh*
God bless
OK, first of all Flat-Fifth I was not coming against the gospelchops corporation. I think that it is wonderful what you have done through the gospel scene of drumming. You have allowed drummers to be recognized through your organization. What I was saying is that I have another perspective on when cats come together to shed. Remember that small clip that you posted up with Jeremy Haynes, Tony Roster Jr., and Thomas Pridgen? One thing that Jeremy Haynes said when he stopped them both was "Listen...........Listen!" I asked him a long time ago why did he say that to them. He said because so much was going on that it was hard to make music. I am all for coming together to make music at shed sessions. Calvin Rodgers and Spanky both know this. However, I am not for continously having the brothers logic and ideas constantly driven into me. Hopefully we will cross paths because I can show you better than I can tell you.
Where did this stem from? This is so random...did you get blazed in a shed last night?!
I cant quite follow what youre saying.....again! What do you mean by leaving people dwelling in their world on your axis? You hear chops through your head but not your ears? Please explain. I would like to respect your thoughts but, honestly I cant follow them. And why am I the one always asking you to repeat stuff? Is it just me? Am I the slow one? Or did you add too much fun juice to your egg nog last night?
Duuuuuuuuuuuuddddddddddeeeeeee on Skins!! lol

Aight, I was at a jam session last night and after an hour things started to sound the same. One thing that you and me can agree on is that should not be. No doubt it was killin at first, but after a while it got dead. So, when I got on the kit and wanted to play something in an odd meter (6/8) & (7/8), they could not hang. And what frustrated me was that it was obvious that they have not reached to challenged themselves as you have. Not just because they couldn't play in odd meters, but because they had one dynamic of shedding, only two meters that they could play in, only sixteenth note snare, tom, and kick action, and no reverence of the melody or chord progressions through there playing. Hear me when I say that If it were me and you on the kits, that I would have no problem helping you progress in your solo. Trust me. THAT'S MUSIC VIA SHED SESSION!
