we need you lord
« on: December 07, 2007, 08:11:06 PM »
Does anyone have any advice on how I can make the chords for we need you lord, by jonathan butler, sound more jazzy? I have the bassline and the basic chords, for the most part. It just doesn't sound quite like gospel when I play my version. I have only been playing for a yer and a half. I think there are some complex chords I'm just not familiar with. Thanks in advance!

Hello Teachmusic.  I have only been playing for sometime past 2 years.  I have been listening to "We Need You Lord" and would love to play it.  Do you mind sharing what you have and I'll see what myself and "My Hero, the Musician" can do with it. Thanks in advance.
I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.  Psalm 34:4
