Well really i guess it depends on the church's theme for the upcoming year.  Nowadays  most churches seem to have something that the upcoming year of sermons is centered around.  But i'd suggest u go back for a watch night service b/c that seems to be the only time people reflect back over the years....

Actually Clay Evans old song "I've Got A Testimony" can work wonders and it's easy to learn.  The Choir just has to sing it like they actually got a testimony and most times for watch night that shouldn't be a problem getting the congregation to help sing that one.  Matter of fact that would be an awesome opening selection to set the atmosphere.

Shoot, we just sing the same songs we normally sing during the year.  Nothing really special bout Watchnight service.  It's just a regular service just like any other that just happens to be on the last day of the year.
Real musicians play in every key!!!

Let's just praise the Lord (Potter's House)
In the midst of it all (Yolanda Adams)
Jesus can work it out
I made it through another days journey
You are God alone (Marvin Sapp)
Total Praise (Smallwood)
Living Word (Hammond)
Are you read for your blessin (Hammond)
The Lord is blessin me (Larry Trotter)
Awesome God (Youthful Praise)
I call you holy (Donnie McClurkin)

Anyway you bless me (Hez)
I've got a reason to praise the Lord (Hez/Draper)
