I currently use a free program called "Anvil Studio", it's fairly simple and creates a midi files mixed audio tracks and allows you to repair broken files. Midi file programs I have used in the past are cubase SX 2.0 and ABEdit. I personally would recommend a cubase program because it can do almost everything you can think of when it comes to producing music, however they do cost..... ;D.

HOPE THIS HELPS.

No problem I am always glad when I can help someone out.... :D. Go to www.anvilstudio.com and you should be able to download the free program. The site also has sample songs, screens, reviews, feature lists and much more stuff to help you with how to work the free software.

Stay Blessed.

I use Cakewalk's SONAR 6, but any software by Cakewalk has good MIDI tools.

well you will need two things to get started. The way i got started was i got my board (for chirstmas) witch is a Casio Lk 94. it Once you get that then you will need a program to make them on.
