New Resolutions for Church Drummers
« on: January 05, 2008, 02:07:39 AM »
 >:( >:( I'm sooooooooo tired of going to play at someones church and the Drumset is a MESS :-[, Now I can deal with bad tuning and Crappy cymbals, But if your over the age of 16 years old you need to make sure your instrument or a least the drumset your playing at the church is in decent condition. I played out at a Church the Toms were falling into the bassdrum(tom Mounted stripped and Broken) the mounted floor tom mount was also stripped,The drum throne was woobly, The drummer came to me before the service and said I could setup to my preferences and if I needed anything he would help,He seemed to be about 28 years old.Iwanted to say so Bad Man get me A Decent drumset.Guys you need to let your church that the up keep of the drums is just as important as the up keep of the Organ. At the church I play at which is a Meduim large congregation that have allotted into the budget Drumheads for the drumset evey 6months,every year cymbals if needed,Broken lugs, strainers are all taken care of in the church budget. Maybe I'm just spoiled  :-\but come on lets do better.................
