drum track question
« on: January 17, 2008, 11:41:43 AM »
Do many of you all use drum tracks during church service?  If so, do you use an MPC or do you make them on a laptop?

I use Reason 3.0 but my tracks never have that real drive like I hear when people use MPCs.  Has anyone else run into this problem?

The first thing that comes to mind would be the samples.  Are you using the stock sounds that came with Reason?  I haven't ever used Reason, but does it function like a DAW? meaning can you use plug-ins?  If so, maybe try using some compression on your master bus.  I hope some of my babble helps.

For live stuff I always use a MPC... but you have to have some really hot samples though, otherwise it can sound cheesy lol
