Help with MIDI?????

Hello everyone,
 
      Does anybody know where i could find some good resources on how i can get the most out of my equipment through using midi.  I currently have a Triton Extreme-88 and a Roland Phantom X6, and i want to get all i can out of them to put them to good use.  I put alot of music together in making beats for our church's hip hop group and i also make gospel worship and praise soundtracks for small chuches that dont have musicians to play for their worship services.  So i would like to learn more about other things i can do with my equipment. There are many times i wish i could use the sounds from one board on the next.  Well i could really use the help if anyone can help me or has any ideas or knows of anywhere to look.
