Man, that is crazy.   I can't help but wonder, if he was only mad at his dad, why would he kill his mom and brothers?  He just shot them like they meant nothing to him.

Yeah, if this kid gets released at age 21, I'm gonna have a problem with that.

Do we ever think or wonder how our words and/or actions contribute to this "sickness of the head"?

Just putting it out there...

Me too. I was thinking about that. I think he will be tried as an adult. I was wondering what would happen if they said he was unstabble.

INSTEAD OF TALKING ABOUT THIS KID, WHY DONT YOU ALL DO THE 'CHRISTIAN" THING AND PRAY FOR HIM?

First, this is a forum meaning we can discuss topics. Second, did I say I wasn't praying for dude? No, I didn't. Third, please don't type in all caps.

Nobody said anything derrogatory about him.  Just trying to understand why someone would kill their whole family and then be ok like nothing happened.

Is it wrong to have a negative reaction to someone MURDERING THEIR WHOLE FAMILY IN COLD BLOOD???  Somehow, "I'm praying for him" just doesn't cut it.  There's something very depraved that the core of my being reacts to when I see something like that.

There is also something called personal responsibility.  Maybe this kid has been mistreated or what have you, but he made the decision to wipe out the whole family.  He pulled the trigger, nobody pulled it for him.  Please don't tell me that at 15 years old you don't understand the implications of those actions.  We're all tempted, but what makes this kid yield to it, when thousands of others who have similar experiences are not murderers?  Maybe that's harsh, but it was a harsh crime.

A lot of folks think that God's unconditional love is such that there's never and downside; but, that's wrong.

Love is an action word; actions have consequences. We always equate consequences with being a bad thing; but, that's not necessarily true.

When a child does wrong, a parent's job to discipline that child; does that mean the parent doesn't love the child. No. The Bible tells us that.

It's like what you were saying, praying for this cat isn't enough. What he did was wrong; and, we pray for him; while his butt is sittin' in jail.
