A lot of folks think that God's unconditional love is such that there's never and downside; but, that's wrong. Love is an action word; actions have consequences. We always equate consequences with being a bad thing; but, that's not necessarily true. When a child does wrong, a parent's job to discipline that child; does that mean the parent doesn't love the child. No. The Bible tells us that. It's like what you were saying, praying for this cat isn't enough. What he did was wrong; and, we pray for him; while his butt is sittin' in jail.
