Weekend Shed....Special Prayer Edition
« on: February 09, 2008, 02:07:28 AM »
My brother and sisters in Christ, this week I come to the weekend shed with a sad and heavy heart and ask for your prayers for our 1st Lady of my church Sis. Blake. She was diagnosed this week with breast cancer and we found our today that she is at stage 3. In case you don't know there are 5 stages so she will be under going surgery, kemo and radiation. She is 48 years old. Please pray for her and our Pastor  and church during this time. God is still God and he can do all things according to His will. Take a moment as you read this just to thank God fo your blessings, your life, health and strength.

May God Bless and Keep you all....
May God's Grace & Mercy smile upon you!

I'm so sorry to hear that, but I encourage you to hold on to your faith as God is true to his word he is still the same God that worked miraculous miracles in the days of the Bible and can work the same miracles today. My wife and I shall be praying for your first lady, your pastor and your church.

Praise the Lord Quebass86,

Your 1st Lady, Pastor and family are added to our prayer list. We touch and agree with you for her healing. That the witness of God shall be reveled to all that hears her testimony of deliverance.

Remember: Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. (James 5:16)

May the Lord richly bless you for your endeavor to intercede.

Sincerely,

Pastor Keith T. Jackson

Lord, we humbly ask You to bless, to heal, to anoint.  We ask it because we know You can do anything if it is Your will.  Be with the Blake family, with their congregation, strengthen and keep them in Your care.

Amen

this is what i truly love about this place (if its actually a "place"). that in addition to tabs to the latest song, riffs and licks, chords, sharing our info, and showing off our new gear, we can still PRAY for one another.

i pray for complete deliverance and healing for Sis. Blake, not only physically, but mentally, because i know this is a stressful ordeal for anyone to experience. I bind all fear and i loose peace. I pray that the Lord touches each one of the doctors and surgeons and guide them. I ask God to reveal his glory in all of this, because in all things God should get the glory. Let her be a true testimony to Gods divine healing and deliverance. Touch the Pastor that he may be strong in mind, body, and spirit and be able to assist whenever and where ever he is needed. amen.
For my God... let "Golden Axe" prevail.

Lord, I pray that you heal sis Blake, but not my will, but yours be done. We know that you are a healer and a deliverer. But even if you do not save her from this illness, you are still God. We know you are able.

Amen

God Bless each of you..Thank you for the prayers. I know that God's will shall prevail. Sis Blake will begin her long journey this week. She will have the operation and then begin her treatments of radiation and Kemo. I will keep you posted and I ask for your continued prayers for the Blake family and our church.

I pray that everyone had a wonderful service this past sunday and that the spirit was high and in full effect!
May God's Grace & Mercy smile upon you!

indeed it was. p&w started off rough, but once we hit the second song the spirit came in there. and it was a good time in the Lord all the way through service.
