Am I wrong to say that by this statement you have just acknowledged that the anointing is not the fruits of the spirit per se...but rather a gift that God gives to any1 who is open to be used as a vessel & needn't be a saved person?

I would say being a Anointed musician as David required a lot

1. Anytime they sent for a minstrel, they sent for a SKILLFUL minstrel...

2. David lived a life of being secluded, he had a prayer life, a real relationship outside the temple.. Because he was a man after God's heart did not make hime perfect.. It made him sensitive and repentive. Lets just be honest. Few MUSICIANS are very honest with the sins we commit, and because we can play folk under a pew we think our playing is covering up for the mess and we gotta be careful because you may be sending a Strange Fire in the presence of God and Disturbing the atmosphere. We must seek after a relationship with God. If we want to have the effect of David. We must Die in the flesh, Allow ourselfs to become GOD's INSTRUMENT and hear what the spirit wants released in the atomosphere. To many musicians are in the place of MINSTRELS.. You can not operate with the brain or the intellect. 1 corth 12 14-18 Notice the whole body is picked apart and you never see the brain in there.. Because operating in the spirits goes beyond what we know.. David and even The master of song were trained in the spirit.. This came from them having a relationship

3.When we allow ourselve to SUBMIT the spirits this is what can happen..

1 Sam 10 5-6
Saul receives a word stating when he arrives to Gibeah.. He would meet a group of prophets playing on the instruments and that he wold began prophesying along with them..

V. 10 He gets there and meets the prophets and starts prophesying along with them...

This happen because naturally they were in place and spiritually.As cold as Saul was The Minstrel play till Saul took on The spirit of them. We have the power to cause folk to prophesy even when THE PROPHET DONT FEEL LIKE IT

2: 3:15 We always hear send me a minstrel... Why did they send for the minstrel

There is rebellion goin on and now Three kings are on the way to a handle biz. v9. They now need water for them and the animals and so they are in search. And Elisha names come up. Yea the lord speaks through him.. They need answers and Elisha in confirm a PROPHET. they reach him and now v 13.. Elisha ask them why are you coming to me. and Tells them to Go and finds those false prophets of the mothers and fathers.. He did not feel like giving them a word .. Now in v15 hes sending for a minstrel.. Somebody to shift out the carnal into the spirit... But, the minstrel was able to TAP in to Elisha spirit and minister to him and again the spirit now from the minstrel is ministering to the Prophet and because he was in place. The power came and instantly gave them a word v20 there is water fo them only... and in the morning that water appeared blood...

Have a life of prayer. Tap in to the spirit of your leader because sometimes he or she may not feel like ministering. Thats why we SET THE ATMOSPHERE in worship... and it may be a 2 chron 5:13 somedays .... only if were are in the spirit ... STAY IN CHURCH WHILE THE SERMON IS GOIN ON..little details like this helps a long way

That's why i tell my choirs that it's NOT ABOUT US. No need for arrogance here. I know a guy from LA now, who had his gift taken away from him. all the keys look the same to him for about 2 weeks he said, and he could PLAY !!! I was tearing up with him, of course he was bawling crying. He got it back and has a WHOLE DIFFERENT attitude.

he is still over there in LA playing somewhere. one of my peoples is in Detroit and told me where King was. Pcan play again, but at that time, he was going through some major stuff

Ummm....aren't we born unsaved? I believe everyone gets convicted when they sin, some just choose not to show it. Even unsaved people can do good things. I still believe God can pour His annointing on anyone. Like I said man, I speak from experience, just because you feel a person is not annointed cuz they unsaved don't mean that they aren't. That ain't for you to decide, that's up to God Himself.

You have board members trying to get you outta there for being spiritual, the pastor doesn't like you cuz you kinda know the Bible more than him, and most choral members have different personalities while you are keeping it spiritial, they're keeping it gangster. . . and I mean we are prayed up to the 100th power. you know ? Sometimes we're trying to secure our jobs after strategizing what will work for service whether some crazy folks like it or not, the $ people don' like your selections, wardrobe, etc and carryin on. That's when some of us call it jobs.

We are sharing with the choir members, if they can't forsee themselves TRULY looking for the Lord as a WHOLE, and looking for souls 2 B saved, what are we doing up in here ?? Then we realize some are just here to try to sing, entertain, and complain... try to suggest and protest. Some places fight like that, then it's just you and God, in Whom it's about anyway...

There is no time to play church!
It's time for souls to be saved so that come Jesus Christ again, they are ready to go with Him, not gossiping about the ongoing differences within the leadership & musicians.

I am new to this, but I cant pass up this opportunity. My brother, there is a difference between being gifted and anointed. When the presence of God is moving, you cannot TOUCH or Move in him with unclean hands. SORRY, but that is bible (2 Samuel 1-7). In reading that, you will see a guy who reached helped to HELP, but he wasn't right and the spirit of the lord KILLED HIM. There are many gifts operating, especially in musicians;however, EVERYONE isn't anointed to be a musician....many are called (by men) FEW are chosen!!
With some musicians having dirty hands and trying to move when the presence of God is operating, the ministry can't be effective! now, you can be called to repentance doing your ministry, but the anointing can't operate from a sinner, if it could....THERE WOULD BE NO NEED FOR SALVATION!

And this is one reason why we have so many problems in the music dept because our Min of Music ain't saved, our musician's aint saved, the choir barely saved but yet all along they singing and playing salvation to the crowd or have you tried Jesus... well did you try Jesus, lol. Well in my church and most apostolic churches you bet not even look at the organ until you get saved! These instruments in God's house are holy!! God wants people who are holy to use them! We are playing unto a holy God! God takes every ministry in the church seriously and if we are not willing to get ourselves together before we touch any instrument, how can we expect God to use us? God is not in that! Yes he uses who he wants to but that includes who's available to be used. God can fix you so you can play but he also looking at those who do that behind the scene work so they can be used by God! We determine the service, and if we're in sin we can hinder God from moving or moving to another level!
