Like someone said earlier in the thread, They were going for that " American Built " Thing! The new Camaro might have be ok but anything else would have been a bad Idea because of the aim they were going for. Or a Ford GT!! Ahh what a car!  A.K.A " The Ferrari Slayer "

The Ford GT Has 560 SuperCharged Horses 0-60 Time at 4.2 Seconds and thats nothing compared to his " Big Brother", the Ford GT X750 ( I think thats the name) That joka has 750 Horses ( Super Charged too ) :o :o

In the spirit of Black History Month, something that the majority of us probably do not know because they won't tell us is that the supercharger was invented by a black man named Richard Gammel.  Also, a black man invented the automatic transmission.  Hmmmm, I wonder why this isn't common knowledge? ::) ::) ::)  I wonder what could it be?

Do your research on black inventors and you will be flabbergasted to find out some of the things that we have created/designed/devised and gotten no recognition for.
When you've done your very best, do even better.

Do you have proof of that? All the facts I have known was a German man invented the first Supercharger ever. then the scroll type supercharger was by French Man and the centrifugal supercharger was also by a french man.

Also, check into the Auto transmission as well. The Sturtevant brothers released the first one in 1904.

Wow, me and my dad where talking about that the other night. Black people always come up with things that make doing a harder job alot Easier. :D The Automatic Tranny? Wow? Abig percentage of American cars are now containing the Automatics Standard these days. I heard the Manua Transmissionl is going to slowly phase out, but I doubt it because what would we do with all the Mustangs, Lambo's, Ferrari's, etc.? But that was good indo BigFoot_BigThumb ;)

Richard Spikes: IMPROVED the Automatic Gear Shift in 1932. He DID NOT invent it.
As previously stated, the Sturtevant brothers released the first one in 1904.
