I believe when they play some of those songs over and over and over, they tend to loose their luster or their flavor and they become bitter tastes in our mouths so to speak.

I think some songs get so overplayed that people get tired of them (theme from TITANIC, anybody?)

Being an unheard composer you may struggle to be heard, but at least you don't have to worry about overexposure...

I cosign on that Timothy Wright "Jesus Jesus Jesus". Good grief, what is it with these little old lady story songs? Oh and cosign ² on Jeff Majors.  Even my father (who has conservative music tastes) has such disdain for that man and his coma-inducing "music" and personality.

I don't know why but Israel's "I Am Not Forgotten" makes me grit my teeth.

And I have come to detest "Alabaster Box" because I have heard it sung sooooo many times with soundtrack and no emotion. 

Trinitee 5:7 "There He Is" because it's repetitive and sounds like an R. Kelly song.

I have to admit I like that Alvin Darling song "NO BODEEEEE! NO BODEEEE! BUT THE LAWD!"
