I'll Be

When things are going wrong
Know who you can call
The one who loves you the most
The one who shares your soul
Your best friend, your confidant, your baby and girl
The one who wants to be a necessity to your big world
I'll be there when you need me and even when you don't
I'll never take your love for granted
I promise that I won't
I'll treat everyday with you as if it were the first
The first time you spoke to me, I got butterflies
The first time you kissed me, it melted my insides
The fist time you held me, I knew I could never let go
And that's when our feelings really began to show
You see, love is not just something we say, do, or feel
Love is who we are and our love is real
When you look up the word love
I am who you'll see
Love is in your heart
And that's where I'll always be
