Legendary Funk Education...
« on: February 20, 2008, 10:46:43 AM »
Ladies and Gentlmen... former Headhunters skinsman, Mike Clark. For those of you whom have never heard "Chameleon" go check out the original version. Mike lays down THE GROOVE of GROOVES for like 17:00. This is a different track but with that classic Mike Clark skill and fill.

FUNK AIN'T RACIAL ITZ A STATE OF MIND!

***** This ifo has just been added 2/21/08 for those who might miss it ****

Here is the clip of Chameleon by the Head hunters with Mike Clark holding it down circa 1974-5 (in place of Harvey Mason).

Yo Sabe,
Mike Clark did play with the "HEADHUNTERS" but he didn't record the original version of Chameleon,That Drummer was Harvey Mason.

Thank you for the correction. I actually knew that but had a brain fart.  ::) ?/? ;D
I was also remembering a YouTube clip of him performing it with the Herbie back then... MY BAD. Thanks for the correction doc! How embarrasing.
