This is one of my favorite Margaret P. Doureaux song. It's been recorded by many gospel artists throughout the years from Donald Vails' slow version to most recently Kelly Price's version, but Dr. Charles G. Hayes' version is a personal favorite of mine. I don't know if it's hearing that organ and piano playing or just hearing Dr. Hayes put his own churchy spin on it. Hope it ministers to you and brings back some memories. :)

Other Old School Friday posts:

Jeffrey White & National Mass Choir

Edwin Hawkins Music & Arts Seminar Mass Choir

P.S.

Please don't pm me about how to download the mp3 files...the player will only allow you to listen to the file not download. :)
