- Shekinah Glory's "Praise Is What I Do", Disk 2. I've yet to listen to disk 1. It may not be a drummers cd, but ... well, just listen to it.
- Kim Burrell's VERY first project, "Try Me Again". Chris Dave, Teddy Campbell ... that album is smoking, as far as I'm concerned. I honestly don't know much about the pioneer(s) of Gospel Jazz, but I can imagine that cd was well-recieved by all the progressive gospel cats, when it was released.
- Saint Paul Sounds Of Praise. I think they only released on project. It features more than one drummer, but the main drummer was Gerald Heyward ... back when I was his #1 fan. It was released in '95, so good luck hunting that down.
- Marvin Sapp's "Grace & Mercy". Not sure who plays on that, but I fondly remember the disk spontaneuosly combusting in my cd player.

- I don't CARE if it's been mentioned before but... James Hall's "God Is In Control"!! Laaaaaaaawwwwwwd Hav Meeeeerrrcccy! I played that thing so much, my brother hid it from me. I'm the type of cat that will listen to something so many times, that my mind won't process the arrangements the same. The arrangement will start to sound different, lol. I'm very much not kidding. I took my little 10.00 per Sunday money(I wish a sucka would offer me that now...

), and went out and bought another...
- Marvin Winans' "Introducing Perfect Praise". M-A-R-I-O "S-K-E-E-T-E-R" W-I-N-A-N-S!! Anybody whose ever heard that album knows about the last track where each member of the band is given a solo. Skeeter ate that joint up. I remember being in heaven, 'cause after hearing Gerald and so many people like him, it was refreshing to hear Skeeter. He sounded nothing like any other gospel cat I had heard.
....and last, but definitely not least...
- Ricky Dillards New Generation Chorale, "Hallelujah". I burned that disk badly. Honestly, I'm not sure whether I like that album or James Hall's "God Is In Control" more. I don't know who played drums, but I can tell you that, at that time, I thought he was from another planet.
