I was reading an article about a man who scared off a couple of home intruders with a gun. So my question is: Does anyone in your house own a gun?

I have been going to the gun range for the last two years. I'm buying my firearm next month. My gun will stay in the house for protection.

I have owned a gat for the last 11 years.  I hope that I have wasted my money on it.  I actually prayed the day I bought it that I never have to use it.  I used to carry it illegally in my car due to fools in the streets, and I kept it on me when I worked in my best friend's store.  I've been considering applying for a concealed weapon carry permit. 

 I have had to pull it out a couple of times when I heard some strange noises outside.  Somebody's dog almost got shot once.

Military...qualified on numerous weapons, grew up in bad neighborhoods, "south-side Chicago", but never packed and never had a piece in my home (except for when I deployed and had to pick up my weapon from the armory prior)...Always carried a Bible in car and one at home...

Yup I Always have a bible in the car, So if I ever get car jacked I'ma start ministering to the car jacker ;) :D
